The Operations Supervisor Accelerated Development Program is designed as a 15–18-month assignment to assist the site Operations Manager with day-to-day tasks and special projects. The program participants manage their own projects to assist the team in achieving goals.

The Operations Supervisor ADP is “hosted” by the Global Supply Chain Organizational Development Department and participants are matched with one of our manufacturing or distribution facilities.

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Operations Manager within Production and Warehousing Operation functions including:

• Assisting with planning daily work scheduled

• Participate in continuous improvement projects and six sigma training

• Support site safety programs

• Understanding sites accounting and billing departments for production

• Working with the filling department and filling supervision needs

• Maintenance & engineering of site equipment and operating procedures to be able toentify and resolve any defect in equipment or products

• Understand inventory, routing, and shipping procedures

• Human resources exposure: coordinate and plan employee training, development, performance management, and corrective actions.

• Supervision of Site Operating teams

• Exposure to timekeeping and production control systems

Afterpletion of the first 9 months of the program, the employee will gain a minimum of 6 months of experience as an Acting Supervisor within the warehouse or production plantpleting 2 months in each shift (3 total).

Position Requirements:

1.Required:

• Must have a bachelor s degree from an accredited institution

• Must be willing to relocate for the position AND uponpletion of the program.

• Must be open to relocating Post Program for your targeted role

• Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future

2.Preferred:

• Major in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field

Knowledge & Experience:

1.Required:

• Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point

2. Preferred:

• Experience with continuous improvement tolls such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, etc.

• Previous Internship/Co-op experience within Sherwin-Williams.

• Previous Internship, Co-op or work experience in a related field

• Leadership experience as demonstrated by your involvement in extracurricular activities on campus or in themunity
