This is a position for a Drywall / Metal Stud Carpenter. The Edge Construction Co. does metal framing, drywall, acoustics and more for commercial projects. This a year-round position. Candidates will be framing out entry-ways, rooms, windows and doors; for ground up builds and remodels. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Will report directly to the job site daily. The Edge main office is located in Bartlett, IL.
Qualifications:
· Experience with hand & power tools
· Familiar with blueprints/blueprint interpretation
· Basic Computer skills/Cell Phone Apps
· Experience with framing, drywall, taping
· Experience with hardware and trim installation
Additional Skills & Qualifications
· Own hand/power tools
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
· Ability to lift up to 40lbs
Experience Level:
Apprentice Carpenter - Journeyman Carpenter - Foreman Carpenter
3 years preferred carpentry experience, OSHA 10 a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
