Job type: Full time Shift available: overnight Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 /hr depending on experience Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance Health and Wellness Incentives Paid Vacation and Holidays 401(k) with Cargill matching contributions Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition Reimbursement Employee Discounts Principal accountabilities Conduct routine inspections following the compliance program Identify and analyze deviations to avoid environmental impact and potential risk to the businesses, report the serious one to higher level staff for guidance Follow company environment and health and safety policies and procedures, identify instances of risky behaviors in the workplace and take appropriate action and escalate serious issues as appropriate Attend audits, prepare required documents, and ensure all documentation is completed, current and verified to support production management decisions Handle basic clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff Other duties as assigned Required qualifications: Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer. Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) Basic computer skills Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice Prior experience working in a production or plant environment High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook Experienced in manufacturing as Line Inspectors or equivalent experience In-depth knowledge of sanitation and manufacturing practices in the assessment of plant hygiene program Ability to read and interpret documents (safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
