Our client continues its proud tradition today by adding Aerospace, Ground Vehicle, and Shipboard lighting. Their lights are manufactured to the exacting standards of thepany has been well known for. Thepany offers state-of-the-art LED lighting to meet the demanding needs of the industry. Thepany has been innovative in producing direct replacement LED bulbs where the specifications call for exacting standards. Thepany also offers aplete line of off-the-shelf solutions for crew station and cargo area lighting.

A Day In The Life of a Project Manager

The position you are applying for ensures that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications). You will ensure the project is effectively resourced and manages relationships with various groups (including all project contributors). Additionally, you will perform technical and administrative engineering tasks to secure and sustain qualification in support ofpany objectives to proe continued leadership in aviation, marine, and ground vehicle lighting.

Essential Duties of The Project Manager

  • Oversee the phase review process for the Lighting business unit.
  • Oversee qualification testing process for aviation, marine, and ground vehicle lighting applications.
  • Review / Generate qualification documents (QTP, QTR, ATP, TRR, etc.)
  • Support sales department as needed for new or/and existing products.
  • Direct meetings and technical presentations.
  • Interface withpany technicians and oute vendors/suppliers to develop product design specifications and optimize production processes
  • Planning the overall project and monitoring the progress;
  • Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements;
  • Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies;

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Software Knowledge Requirements:

  • CAD: AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or SoWorks
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Project

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Good knowledge and handling of project management methodology and techniques;
  • Good understanding of the broader objectives of the program;
  • Ability to work positively with a e range of indiuals involved in program management;
