Coordinating Clerk ARRMC (Emergency Room)
Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.900000 | Full Time | 1st Shift - Days
Salary: Starting at $20.54 an hour and increases are based on qualifications and years of experience in the field. Plus, you will earn extra shift differentials for swing, night, and weekend hours:
- $1.33 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- $2.25 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
- $1.16 extra for working weekends
Position Summary
The Coordinating Clerk establishes a Standard of Care that ensures medical coverage for monitoring and review of telemetry findings and appropriate patient treatment. They help the Emergency services staff to assure a smooth flow of patients through the ER. This is accomplished through clear communication with staff, other departments, physicians, patients, and families with direct accountability to the charge nurse. Responsibilities also include data collection and maintenance of accurate and complete unit forms.
Position Qualifications
Experience
- Telemetry monitoring in acute setting, or EMT, CNA or RT experience is required.
- Medical Terminology skills are required.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Certification/Licensure
- Basic Cardiac Rhythms course with a passing test score of 80% is required.
