Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Construction Laborers for projects in Southern California.
Job Details:
- Pay: $25-$28/hour (based on experience)
- Hours: 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 9+ months
Job Description:
We are seeking laborers to perform physical tasks at earthwork construction and demolition sites. Responsibilities include operating hand and power tools such as air hammers, earth tampers, and small mechanical hoists. Additional duties may include:
- Site preparation, trenching, excavation support, and backfilling
- Decontamination, traffic control, and fencing installation/removal
- Clearing debris, handling hazardous materials, and assisting craft workers
- Setting up and breaking down project sites
Qualifications for Laborers:
- 1+ year of experience working on environmental remediation or construction projects
- Ability to perform physical labor on construction, demolition, and earthwork sites
- Experience clearing and preparing job sites by removing debris, hazards, and obstructions
- Ability to load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Experience digging trenches, backfilling excavations, and leveling ground
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Must have PPE, including steel-toe work boots, a hard hat, gloves, a high-visibility vest, and protective eyewear
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
