Freelance Sports Website & Visual Designer

This role is freelance, remote, contract, and (part-time) hours; can vary depending on projects and demand. Must be able to work autonomously and efficiently.

STRONG WEBSITE DESIGN EXPERIENCE A MUST. A passion for sports is a preferred and a plus!

The Freelance Website & Visual Designer will be responsible for creating, conceptualizing, and executing custom and unique design solutions for web, social, digital marketing, and branding efforts. Modern, 3D design skills desired with ability to work within multiple clients brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

· Bringing solutions to the table, not waiting for task list

· Manage ones time for successful design--concept through production/execution

· Create website mockups and collaborate with developers to ensure design is built accurately

· Create and manage design assets, includes print and digital marketing, social media design, print collateral, merchandise design, logos, and more

· Lead branding efforts to create and maintain style guides, and best practices for both the agency and clients

· Research and document industry trends on clients and competitors

· Create new, update, manage, and take ownership of existing design materials for the agency and clients

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of design experience in agency or industry setting

· Ability to communicate proactively and be invested in your role and projects.

· Ability to think 3D and constantly looking to improve ones design ability and technique

· Positive, enthusiastic, go-getter attitude

· Self-starter, show initiative, ready to learn, curious, and be able to work autonomously

· Excellent verbal/communication and writing skills

· Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills a must

· Proficient with design tools and feel comfortable recommending options

· Proficient and comfortable in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Microsoft Office, etc.

· Professional and confident in attitude

· Must be comfortable/love exploring new techniques and design methods

· Must be able to work cohesively with other designers and production team

· Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus
