The Senior Associate will be responsible for recruitment for the Americares Distribution Center (Stamford, CT) and the Americares Free Clinics (Stamford, Norwalk, Danbury, and Bgeport, CT). They will also be responsible for the day-to-day administration of onboarding all US and Headquarters (HQ) new hires and collaborating with global People and Talent staff to enhance global onboarding initiatives (in Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Colombia, Liberia, Tanzania, India, and the Philippines). Key Oues: In the first 90 days, the Senior Associate will:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Distribution Center (DC) and Americares Free Clinics (AFC) work, team dynamics, and recruitment and onboarding needs.
  • Learn, embody, and represent the Americares mission and values.
  • Build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in the Distribution Center, Free Clinics, and global P&T staff.
  • Develop expertise in processes and procedures for the day-to-day administration of onboarding in the US.
In the first 6 months, the Senior Associate will:
  • Independently manage recruitment for the Distribution Center and Free Clinics, while proing leadership and coaching for best practices and process efficiency.
  • Support the Director with the development of a global onboarding program philosophy, innovations, and efficiencies based on onboarding metrics, data, and feedback from global P&T staff.
  • Integrate the Americares values in all aspects of the onboarding and orientation experience for new hires.
  • Begin developing hiring manager training and toolkits for onboarding.
  • Develop a system and process for onboarding metrics collection and reporting.
In the first year, the Senior Associate will:
  • Successfully meet recruitment and onboarding goals
  • Achieve key global onboarding deliverables including: philosophy, innovation, inclusion and scalability.
Duties and Responsibilities: Recruitment:
  • Proe high quality service and sourcing for full-cycle recruitment in the Distribution Center and Free Clinics, while proing all canates with an equitable, inclusive, and positive experience.
  • Coach and support staff to increase knowledge, understanding, andpliance with Americares Recruiting Philosophy and best practices.
  • Document and analyze recruitment data to improve the quality and inclusiveness of our processes and experience.
  • Proe back-up support to HQ recruitment, emergency recruitment, and/or global recruitment, as needed.
  • Support with additional administrative functions within recruitment, such as processing invoices.
Onboarding:
  • Lead the day-to-day onboarding experience for new hires, including but not limited to: orientation sessions, coordinating new hire schedules, technology and systems access, engagement, andmunications.
  • Partner with the Director to create and lead implementation of a global onboarding philosophy to create a globally inclusive, efficient, and choice driven onboarding experience.
  • Coach and support staff in creating an effective onboarding experience that supports new hires’ learning, development, inclusion, and time to productivity.
  • Document and analyze onboarding data to improve the quality and inclusiveness of our onboarding processes and experience.
Thesepetencies are required for the role:
  • Progressive administrative support experience in fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
  • Experience in People and Talent (human resources), with an understanding of recruitment and onboarding life cycles
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Exceptionally organized and able to manage multiplepeting priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Experience working with global teams at all levels and have demonstrated strong globalpetencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Forms, etc).
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly, bing a super user and trainer for others whileentifying efficiencies and system improvements.
  • Customer-service focused orientation (internally and externally).
  • Ability to adhere to, and proactively improve, processes and procedures.
  • Technology, time management, andmunication skills for remote work.
  • Ability to work in Fairfield County Americares locations 25% of the time.

US work authorization is required for this position.

Thesepetencies would be great to have, but are not required:

  • Experience working in primary care/hospital/clinical settings and/ or distribution/warehouse environment.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, specifically Cornerstone OnDemand.
  • In addition to fluency in English and Spanish, fluency in languages that are spoken in at least one of our core locations (India, Philippines, Tanzania, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, Colombia, etc.)
