Data Entry & Winemaking Assistant

This roles compensation is anticipated to fit within the stated range. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend on numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate skills, knowledge and education.

Position Overview

As a member of the Winemaking team, the Data Entry & Winemaking Assistant will support our winemaking and cellar teams by ensuring accurate and timely data entry in the Winemaking database. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. While knowledge of winemaking processes is preferred, strong data entry and computer skills are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data entry into Winemaking database including but not limited to:
  • Harvest work orders
  • Cellar work orders
  • Chemical and wine additive receipt and inventory
  • Assists with reconciling off-site bulk wine inventories
• Record filing
  • Scanning of BOL and weigh tags
  • Maintaining certificates of analysis for additives
  • Expand the additive receiving entry to include tagging and physical inventory management
• Client/ Vendor Interaction
  • Emailing intake/ dispatch documents
  • Follow-up on pertinent detail requests- composition, COAs, wash certificates, etc
  • EOM reports for clients including TTB 702 report review for APs.
• General office organization
• Saturday work during Harvest season
• Additional tasks as assigned

A successful candidates background includes:

• Strong computer skills: Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
• High School Diploma or GED - Some college experience preferred
• Vintrace/ NetSuite experience preferred. Moderate to strong math skills
• Ability to follow and execute verbal and written Instructions
• Experience with data entry
• Basic knowledge of wine production
Meticulous, organized and detail oriented

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds over short distances.
