Maintenance Technicians Applying will assist in the preventative maintenance & repair of plant systems (electrical & mechanical). PdM/PM- Basic understanding of predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, fluid analysis, thermographic and ball bar analysis). Maintenance Technicians Applying will assist in the preventative maintenance & repair of plant systems (electrical & mechanical). They will be seen as the first responder to machine downtime related issues on plant equipment and begin the assessment process of the repair needed to ensure the safe delivery of proper working equipment to the production team. Simple machine repair with the focus on improving their skillset to advance to higher roles in their area. Work in conjunction with operators for machine diagnosis and repair, PM’s, and improvements. Various other tasks as assigned.

  • Electrical:- Able to read electrical schematics and hardwire prints

    • Able to wire to hardwire prints and troubleshoot electrical systems
    • National Electrical Code (a plus)
    • Test equipment
    • Multiple meters and amp probe

  • Mechanical- Basic understanding of and ability to do simple repairs or replacement: belt drives, gear boxes, gibs, hydraulic units, pumps, cylinders, pneumatic systems, chain drives, bearings, bushings

    • Basic welding techniques, stick, tig, mig, gas (as required)
    • Fabricate to blueprint specifications (as required)
    • Troubleshoot all mechanical systems
    • Practice safe lifting and rigging techniques

  • Control System- Troubleshoot PLC’s and CNC’s

    • Electrical test equipment
    • PC interface to various controllers
    • Troubleshoot and repair stand-alone electronic equipment

  • PdM/PM- Basic understanding of predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, fl analysis, thermographic and ball bar analysis)

    • Understands and applies predictive maintenance techniques
    • Develops and performs preventative maintenance tasks in assigned areas
    • Identify repetitive failures and implements corrective actions

Formal Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 1 - 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience is required
  • Work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPR/First responder training
  • Powered industrial Equipment (forklift & scissor lift certification)
  • Mechanical/Electrical certification (journeyman card, training certifications, etc.)

You should be proficient in:

  • PLC Troubleshooting Skills
  • Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans
  • Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Hydraulics Experience

Salary info:

$27.55 - $27.55 / hr
