Job Description:

Yard Jockey wanted
Yard Jockey position is to assist in moving and spotting of equipment required to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in organizing & processing products for shipping and/or storage.
The Yard Jockey s responsibilities include but are not limited to, trailer preparedness, conducting daily equipment inspections, daily yard/facility inspections, moving trailers in & out of dock doors for loading and unloading, staging equipment for easy access and accountability.
Schedule:
  • M-F 3PM - midnight. Weekend work available on occasion, but we have other drivers that can fill these shifts if needed.

Home Time:
  • Saturday and Sunday

Equipment Type:
  • 2018 Ottawa Automatic
  • Freight Type - No touch
  • Truck Speed - 65 mph

Bonuses:
New Hire Transition Bonus: $500 Paid in full on second paycheck
Referral Bonus: $3,000 Paid out at $1,000 on second paycheck; $1,000 at 60 days, and $1,000 at 120 days.
PAY:
  • $26.00/hour

Other Pay Info:
  • $39.00/hour for overtime after 40 hours (overtime is almost every week)

Requirements:
  • 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
  • Hazmat endorsement
