We provide a positive, team-oriented work environment and encourage, promote, and reward team members who share our commitment to quality, integrity, and service.About You: We are looking for a Low Voltage Fiber & Data Installation Technician who would be responsible for the installation, termination, wire pulling and certification of commercial structured cable, fiber, data and security systems. Upon starting with LVC Companies, you will be required to be a member of the IBEW 640.Compensation/Benefits: A competitive pay ranging from $22-$35 per hour depending on experience. Apply and find out why LVC is the right employer for you.Essential Functions:Installation of low voltage CAT5, CAT6, fiber, and electronic cable as per specifications.Basic wiring and installation of hardware used in fiber, data, and security systemsOperation of cable testing equipment to ensure system performanceStrong understanding of low voltage fiber/data components and circuitryInstall Pathways and Spaces for Installation of Low Voltage WiringLay Out, Install and Verify Operation of Fiber, Data, Security and Access Control SystemsMeet all installation deadlinesFull compliance with company's and customer's safety programStrong understanding of Low Voltage Fiber & Data systems and installationFiber and Data termination & Fusion Splicing experience preferredQualifications:High School Degree or equivalentAn Associate's degree in electronics is preferred but not required.Minimum of 2 years of industry experience (Industry experience will be considered on an individual basis)Working knowledge of low voltage systems is required.LVC Companies, Inc. is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
