Job Description

JOB TITLE: Network Analyst

LOCATION: Rahway, NJ 07065

DURATION: 8+ months

Job Overview

Seeking a talented and energetic network analyst to support our large global network. You will have the opportunity to work on global teams to identify and tackle the biggest opportunities and challenges at the intersection of healthcare, information and technology. The selected candidate will work on complex problems locally, regionally, and globally and will collaborate with team members and customers across the globe. He/She will work closely with network engineering and various IT team members across multiple disciplines. The position requires a network analyst to install, maintain, replace, repair, and support a variety of device types and models as part of a fast‑paced team. The candidate will work on projects both large and small and have accountability for their success, and at times be a technical lead for projects, overseeing the work of team members working offshore as part of a managed service. Travel will be required between sites within Eastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey as needed, and may occasionally be required to other sites and IT hubs internationally.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, replace, repair, and support a variety of network device types and models.
Build technical project plans and execute them successfully and on time.
Act as a technical lead for projects, overseeing offshore team members in a managed service environment.
Travel between sites in Eastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey, and occasionally internationally.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Completion of a college or technical training program in Information Systems or a similarly technical field.

Required Experience and Skills:

CCNP certification or 5 years’ experience managing Cisco switches, routers, and wireless controllers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a high‑pressure dynamic environment and independently prioritize work.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

3 years’ experience supporting networks for a large company with 10,000 employees or more.
In‑depth knowledge of managing Cisco IOS switches and routers.
Experience administering F5 devices with advanced VIP configurations and application problem investigation.
Experience managing DNS/DHCP via QIP is desirable.
Advanced Cisco Wireless administration and problem resolution, including management via Client.
Experience supporting firewalls, reverse proxies, VPN solutions, and web gateways.
Working knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP.
Operational support of wireless 802.11 and mobile devices, including Federation, certificate authentication, and Radius.

Additional Qualifications:

Strong time‑management skills, self‑starter, able to set priorities according to business needs with minimal oversight.
Strong desire to locate and resolve the root cause of complex problems.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or other technical field.
