Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a licensed Social Worker to provide vital support services within an elementary school setting in Grand Haven, MI. The role involves working directly with students, families, and educational staff to promote student well-being and academic success. Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and prepare detailed reports. * Collaborate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, partnering with parents and school teams to develop appropriate interventions. * Track and report student progress toward established goals throughout the school year. * Design and implement data collection methods for functional assessments and positive behavior support. * Analyze and graph data to monitor and support student development. * Participate in professional development initiatives related to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) across the school. Qualifications: * Masters Degree from an accredited graduate social work program recognized by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) with at least 500 hours of supervised practicum. * Hold temporary approval, continuing temporary approval, or full approval status by MDEs Office of Special Education. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary school environment. * Committed to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth. Additional Details: * Location: Elementary school in Grand Haven, MI. * Contract position with onsite work requirements. * Work Hours: Approximately 8:15 AM 3:55 PM, Monday through Friday. * Caseload: Approximately 40 students. * Assignment Duration: Immediate start through June 5th.
