Job Summary: The Help Desk Analyst will provide critical IT support for a Defense Logistics Agency(DLA) project, ensuring the stability and efficiency of its computer systems and networks. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational readiness by resolving technical issues and supporting end-users in a high-security, mission-critical environment. Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide trouble shooting support to the user community employing computer systems and networks.
  • Diagnoses problems and provides applicable remedies. May serve as a team leader in operations.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and support processes to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate complex problems and contribute to system enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices to safeguard organizational IT infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • Clearance: Active secret clearance is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support, system troubleshooting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority (e.g., CompTIA Security+, A+, or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in DoD or other federal cloud environments.
  • Prior experience as a shift supervisor or lead diagnostician is preferred.
