Expected Pay Range: $64,000 - $75,000/year.

Summary and Scope

The Application Developer is an integral part of a development team responsible for creating applications from scratch, configuring existing systems, and providing user support. The ideal candidate for this role is a problem solver with strong programming skills, a strong work ethic, and expertise in React.js and the .NET framework.

The successful candidate will be adept at writing functional code and identifying defects, with excellent teamwork and communication skills. A passion for software design and architecture is highly valued.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with the application development team to develop and enhance the companys web and iOS applications.
• Engage in the full application life cycle, including concept development, requirement gathering, design, build, deployment, testing, and release.
• Work closely with the backend teams to implement various iOS features in our applications.
• Demonstrate familiarity with Azure and AWS platforms.
• Partner with Application Owners to develop new product ideas, designs, and prototypes as requested.
• Write high-quality code and adhere to best programming practices in implementing various features and products.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure all applications are secure and compliant with CMMC and NIST standards.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on applications and provide technical support.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Specifications

• Expertise in building applications using C-Sharp.
• Familiarity with Apples design principles and interface guidelines.
• Familiarity with JSON, REST and XML.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in networking, concurrency, design patterns, memory management and debugging in the context of applications.
• Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, networking, memory management, distributed systems, and relational databases.
• Ability to translate design mockups into production-quality functioning app interfaces.
• Intellectual curiosity, including a desire to know, learn and contribute to how things work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under tight timelines.
• Willingness and ability to work the non-traditional hours.
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of application developer experience is required.
• Experience implementing third party libraries and APIs is required.
• Microsoft Office 365 account/license management and advanced troubleshooting (PowerShell) experience is required.
• Experience working with PHP and JavaScriptis required.
• Power Apps experience is desired.
• Experience building iOS applications using Objective-C and Swift is desired.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, hear, sit for extended periods, stand, walk, engage in repetitive motions, and use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, tools, or controls. May lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position based remotely. Typical office hours 8am-5pm M-F(ET), however, must be available 24/7/365 as needed. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends is required based on contract needs.

Travel

This position requires up to 15% travel. Travel is dependent on contract load. The ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required. Short notice travel is required with 24-48 hours notice.

Work Authorization

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
• Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, occupational health physical and lift test (if applicable), credit check, and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment.
• Must possess a valid drivers license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
