Job Description

Position: Plumbing & Water Systems Technician

Type: Temp to Hire

Hours: 8 am-4 pm M-F

Location: McDonald, PA

Pay: $22-$30 per hour, depending on experience

Benefits:  After Probationary period-includes health benefits, 401K plan, paid holidays, and vacations

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to assemble and pipe prefabricated metering pump skids, chemical feed systems, and water-quality panels. This role focuses on clean, precise PVC piping and mechanical assembly of pumps, valves, analyzers, tubing, and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble chemical feed skids and water-quality panels per drawings and P&IDs
• Mount pumps, valves, analyzers, regulators, and related components
• Cut, fit, and glue PVC piping with accuracy and a clean finish
• Ensure piping is level, supported, and aligned to engineering specs
• Install valves, calibration columns, injection quills, and tubing
• Perform pressure/leak checks as needed
• Maintain organized, professional workmanship
• Provide feedback and redlines to engineering when needed

Qualifications

Required

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience assembling plumbing/mechanical systems
• Clean, precise PVC piping experience
• Ability to read mechanical drawings

Preferred

• Experience with chemical feed or water treatment systems
• PVDF or thermoplastic socket welding (or willingness to learn)
• Familiarity with pumps, valves, and instrumentation
• Basic electrical knowledge (a plus)
