This new Gastroenterology opportunity offers a structured weekday schedule, weekend on-call coverage, and a supportive onsite team.

The Role:

• Location: Petoskey, MI
• Assignment type: Travel (1 position)
• Start / End: 03/01/2026 - 05/31/2026 (Duration: 91 days)
• Specialty / Unit: Gastroenterology / Endoscopy
• Shift: Days 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM; 24-hour weekend call (weekends only; no weekday night call)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-4:30 PM with 24-hour weekend call coverage (no weekday night call)
• Clinic setting: Hospital-based; approximately 18 outpatient / 20 inpatient scopes per day
• Coverage includes endoscopy procedures and consults during the 7:00 AM-4:30 PM window
• Support staff: 2 physicians, 2 APPs; all services onsite at the hospital
• Onsite lab and X-ray
• EMR: Cerner
• On-call: Yes - weekends only (24-hour coverage Saturday & Sunday)
• Credentialing: 90 days
• Timekeeping / Invoicing: Reverse invoicing - provider will use DocTime to clock in/out (no paper timesheets)
• Lodging & taxes: No lodging booked through third-party websites (e.g., Expedia, Kayak); client is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging
• Expenses: Expenses covered by the client will not exceed the limitations listed in the travel expense policy

9/25/2026 - 7am - 5pm Daily (No night call) - 24h Weekend Call - 10/8/2026 5pm
8/28/2026 5pm - 7am - 5pm Daily (No night call) - 24h Weekend Call - 9/10/2026 5pm

Submission / Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified - REQUIRED
• Completed fellowship with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience - REQUIRED
• ACLS - REQUIRED
• Active Michigan license CSR at time of submission - REQUIRED (no exceptions)
• DEA - verbal confirmation required at name clear - REQUIRED
• COVID-19 vaccination - REQUIRED
• Clean background with no actions (minimal malpractice is acceptable) - REQUIRED
• NPDB self-query (copy required at presentation; should be pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED
• Local candidates driving in - REQUIRED (must be noted at time of submission)
• IMLC: If applicable, dates of availability/need must be 60+ days out and must provide LOQ for IMLC
