About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Recruiting to lead talent acquisition for its various sports and entertainment properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of recruiters, setting and executing recruiting strategies that align with the needs of the business, and building strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers and business leaders. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the VP expected to be present and engaged in the business, including regular travel to different locations. The VP will also be tasked with driving results, managing a high volume of searches, and ensuring a consistent and high-quality hiring experience. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' recruiting experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing full-cycle searches. A client-service mentality, strong follow-up, and a reputation for being a trusted partner are essential. The role demands a candidate with a genuine curiosity about the supported businesses, experience in building or scaling referral programs, and hands-on experience with AI recruiting tools. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, a creative problem-solving approach, and a bias toward in-person presence are also key requirements. The VP will be expected to lead the team in recruiting for senior and critical positions and to oversee the early careers internship program with the same level of rigor and client-service mindset.
