Associate General CounselWhat we are looking for: The Associate General Counsel serves as the organization’s primary expert on all employment and corporate legal matters, reporting directly to the CEO. This role involves providing support and strategic legal advice and counsel to internal stakeholders, managing compliance matters, negotiating contracts, and representing the company in legal proceedings. The Associate General Counsel collaborates with different departments to ensure that the company’s operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.

What you will do:o Advise management on legal rights, obligations, and risk.
o Provide legal guidance on a wide range of issues, including employee relations, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
o Develop, implement, and maintain effective processes for contract drafting, negotiation, review, approval, and storage to ensure the company’s legal interests are protected.
o Support the due diligence process during mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
o Manage corporate litigation matters, including working with external counsel when necessary to defend the company's interests in lawsuits.
o Coordinate responses to subpoenas, investigations, or disputes.
o Identify potential legal risks and advising management on strategies to mitigate these risks.
o Keep abreast of changes in employment law and legal precedents is crucial to provide accurate guidance and representation.
