Job Description
We are looking for an observant, efficient Bar Back who can work with other staff members to ensure that our customers receive prompt service. The Bar Back will assist in cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, and ensuring the bar is well stocked. One or more years of related bar Back experience is required. Alcohol awareness certification and familiarity with hospitality industry practices are preferred. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The position requires the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time; frequently required to hear, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 50 lbs; requires the ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions. To succeed as a Bar Back, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.
