Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated hospitality professionals to join our vibrant café team. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively, handle cash transactions, and provide excellent customer service will contribute to the overall success of our café.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea and alcoholic  beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assist with food preparation for our day + night food menus, adhering to food handling guidelines.
• Operate the Square POS system for processing orders and managing cash handling efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a café or food service environment is required.
• Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Square or Toast.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices related to food handling is desirable.
