Position Summary:
The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the beverage program, including wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings. This role ensures a high-quality, consistent beverage experience aligned with Altamarea Group standards while supporting financial performance, team development, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate comes with experience and a passion for hospitality and growth.
Responsibilities include:
• Oversee and maintain the beverage program, including wine lists, cocktails, and non-alcoholic offerings
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and update beverage menus aligned with the concept and seasonality
• Train, mentor, and develop FOH staff on beverage knowledge, service standards, and upselling techniques
• Ensure proper service, storage, and handling of all beverages in accordance with DOH and company standards
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Monitor beverage cost, margins, and overall financial performance
• Maintain accurate records, including invoices and inventory logs
• Lead by example on the floor, providing hands-on support during service
• Collaborate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout all beverage areas
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback related to beverage service
Requirements:
- Open availability with the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong background in hospitality with experience managing beverage programs preferred
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to train and develop team members
- Ability to walk, stand, talk, kneel, bend, run, lift, sit, for long durations or without any assistance.
