Job Description

An internal medicine healthcare clinic is looking to immediately hire in Sarasota, FL a highly skilled, and compassionate Nurse Practitioner/PA who is licensed as a family or adult/gerontology NP in the state of FL. The organization offers an extremely lucrative compensation package, including paid time off (PTO), medical benefits and revenue sharing. The candidate MUST be proficient in Spanish to provide daily care for scheduled patients.
 

Responsibilities:

·         Manage chronic conditions, treat acute illnesses, and respond to urgent medical needs and collaborate with physicians on treatment plans. 

·         Manage medication therapy effectively including dosage adjustments, discontinuing or changing meds as appropriate and avoiding high risk meds.

·         Simplify medication regimen for improved adherence and safety.

·         Order and monitor diagnostics including laboratory studies, radiological studies, etc.

·         Conduct health screenings, administering immunizations, and performing routine physical exams to facilitate closure of potential care gaps.

·         Document patient information accurately and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teWam members.

·         Recommend tools and devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.

Qualifications:

·         Holds active, unencumbered Advanced Practice license in FL along with an Active DEA license.

·         Working knowledge of computers and ability to document effectively and efficiently in an electronic medical record system.

·         Bilingual preferred

·         Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.

·         Detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently. 

·         Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills

·         Professional demeanor and a strong work ethic
