Biological Sciences - Adjunct Faculty Job Summary * Teach courses in the biological sciences in keeping with the candidate's specialization and departmental needs. We commonly have openings to teach introductory biology, environmental science, human anatomy, human physiology, and microbiology. What you'll do * Teach concepts and processes in biology, environmental science, human anatomy, human physiology, or microbiology. * Teach laboratory sections that accompany lecture courses. * Prepare lectures, assignments, and exams. * Provide availability for meetings with students outside of class time. * Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline Qualifications * Effective teaching and pedagogy practices * College teaching experience preferred * Minimum of a Master's degree in biology or a related field required Compensation * We pay $1,250 per credit hour for in-person or hybrid courses.
