Job DescriptionJob Description
Our Client is looking for a Detailer who can interpret design drawings, written instruction, or field sketches to create 3D drawings for fabrication. Experience with cabinets & exhibits is essential.
Job Requirement/Duties:
- Experience and/or schooling using AutoCAD- 5+ years with tradeshow or similar
- Ability to read and comprehend 2D & 3D drawings- Ability to draft in 2d and 3d AutoCAD
- Knowledge of different types of materials are a plus (Aluminum, Steel, Plywood, Acrylic)- This is mandatory not preferred
- Good communication skills with the ability to take direction and give feedback when necessary.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Have the ability to handle several projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
- This position will be responsible for creating 3d models, cut sheets, cnc layouts floor plans, material/hardware schedules, electrical plans and fabrication drawings.
- Ability to Communicate with carpenters throughout the entire build process to ensure items are built to plans.
Position is full time. Wage based on experience and education.
