Cisco Enterprise Networking Engineer

Location: Onsite in Hawaii – INDOPACOM, Pearl Harbor Shipyard, Bank of Hawaii, First Hawaiian Bank, and others

Clearance Required: DoD Secret

Certification Required: CCNP

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco Enterprise Networking Engineer to support mission-critical operations contracts at INDOPACOM, Pearl Harbor Shipyard, Bank of Hawaii, First Hawaiian Bank, and others. The ideal candidate will have proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide Cisco environments within DoD infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco network infrastructure.
• Support daily operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Implement routing and switching protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs).
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies (STIGs, RMF).
• Provide Tier III network support.
• Maintain network documentation and configuration baselines.
• Collaborate across system, cybersecurity, and mission-support teams.
• Support modernization and lifecycle upgrades.

Required Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Cisco CCNP certification.
• 5+ years of enterprise-wide Cisco networking experience.
• Strong knowledge of IOS/IOS-XE and security best practices.
• Familiarity with DoD networking standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Army or DoD network environments.
• SDN knowledge (SD-Access, SD-WAN).
• Automation experience (Python, Ansible).
