Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, customer service focused CDL Class A Driver to join our team.
$70,000 a year base salary and ability to earn an additional $7,500+ a year in route commissions. This is a full-time, salaried position with route-based commission.
This position is Monday-Friday only, no weekends and no evenings. Start time is flexible depending on the route for the day. Average route times 6-10 hours a day, depending on route. All drivers are home every night, delivery area is WI and Northern Illinois. The driver would mainly be driving a 45-foot semi.
A driver transports goods such as plywood, laminate, and quartz to customers. It includes loading and unloading items, planning efficient routes, and ensuring safe, timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws. The role also involves maintaining the vehicle, managing delivery records, and providing customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Make sure all deliveries are delivered on the day they are scheduled, in good condition. This may include second delivery runs.
· Make sure loads are secure throughout day.
· Help customers unload when necessary.
· Provide positive customer service.
· Drive in a safe and considerate manner.
· Confirm each delivery matches corresponding documentation.
· Maintain delivery records as required.
· Turn in delivery paperwork daily.
· Pick up material for returns when necessary.
· Provide updates of delivery status when requested.
· Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Must have a Class A CDL.
· Needs to be able to lift and carry 70 lbs for short distances.
· Must be able to pass a DOT physical, DOT drug screen, have a clean driving record, and all DOT
mandated regulations for the hiring and employment of a commercial driver.
· Must have knowledge of the state DOT and federal DOT regulations in accordance with driver’s
responsibility when driving.
· Must be able to fill out paper logs when needed, we are exempt from EDL mandate.
· Must be able to read and comprehend English.
· Must be able to work with others.
Work environment and schedule
· This position is Monday-Friday only, no weekends and no evenings.

· Delivery areas are WI and Northern Illinois.

· Work takes place both inside and outside the truck in all types of weather.
