About:
Our client is hiring an experienced CNC Mill Machinist who can independently set up, program, and run jobs with minimal supervision. This is a high-responsibility role for someone who takes ownership of their work and wants to be a key contributor in a growing shop.

What You'll Do
- Perform complete, independent CNC mill setups
- Program, edit, and optimize jobs using Mastercam
- Take jobs from print → program → setup → production
- Read prints including tight tolerances and GD&T
- Select tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining strategies
- Prove out jobs and ensure repeatability and efficiency
- Troubleshoot machining and quality issues independently
- Perform in-process and final inspection
Process & Leadership Expectations
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Improve cycle times, tooling performance, and consistency
- Help develop setup sheets and standardized processes
- Mentor and support less experienced machinists
- Contribute to overall shop efficiency and throughput
What We're Looking For
- 3-7+ years CNC milling experience
- Proven ability to perform independent setups
- Strong Mastercam programming experience (required)
- Solid understanding of tooling, materials, and machining strategy
- Ability to read prints and understand GD&T
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Organized, self-driven, and accountable
