We are seeking an experienced Concrete Paving Mechanic with 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing GOMACO paving equipment and a working understanding of concrete batch plant operations. This is a key role that supports the productivity and reliability of our field operations across large-scale infrastructure and paving projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on concrete paving equipment, including GOMACO slipform pavers, curb and gutter machines, trimmers, and related support equipment.
• Conduct in-depth troubleshooting on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment such as concrete saws, mixers, batch plants, conveyors, and site support trucks.
• Support field paving operations by performing job-site diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments on active projects.
• Assist with the operation, setup, and troubleshooting of concrete batch plants, including mixers, controls, and material systems.
• Interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to perform accurate and efficient repairs.
• Document service and maintenance activities using company tracking systems.
• Maintain safe work practices and adhere to OSHA and company safety policies.
• Collaborate with field crews, operators, and supervisors to ensure equipment readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a paving mechanic, with specific experience in concrete paving operations.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with GOMACO equipment (e.g., pavers, curb machines, trimmers).
• Working knowledge of concrete batch plants, including mechanical and control systems.
• Proficient in hydraulic and electrical diagnostics and repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license; CDL Class A is a plus but not required.
• Willing and able to travel to project sites and work in outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
