Job Description:

Participates in Performance Improvement activities, including completing and documenting Core Measure indicators timely and accurately. Coordinates equipment availability with patient availability and communicates changes to the surgical team, serving as a point of contact for service specialty needs. Monitors product flow, identifies opportunities for product standardization, participates in capital budget planning, and maintains preference cards and inventory processes. Assesses and analyzes the health status of patients in a comprehensive manner, performing and documenting ongoing assessments according to policy. Reports significant findings from assessments to appropriate healthcare team members and initiates discharge planning with initial admission assessment. Plans patient care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team, formulating individualized care plans based on assessment data Updates care plans based on patient assessments within appropriate time periods and communicates the plan to other healthcare team members. Directs, implements, and coordinates patient care activities to ensure the delivery of quality care, including transcribing and directing the implementation of physician orders. Provides patient education based on assessed needs and evaluates understanding, documenting all patient care given including assessments, interventions, patient response, and follow-up. Conducts ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes and documents the effectiveness of interventions and strategies in relation to the care plan. Adheres to nursing department standards, completes competency testing/skills validation, and maintains current licensures and certifications. Provides appropriate patient assessment and care specific to the needs of the patient populations served, demonstrating knowledge of their physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Associate's of Nursing (Required), Bachelor's of NursingAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$32.76 - $57.47
