Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Perform medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to infection control protocols.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Support various dental specialties such as pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and general dentistry as required.
Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a clean working environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including X-ray operation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Certification or training in dental assisting is a plus; experience in pediatric dentistry or endodontics is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
