SUMMARY:  

The key responsibility of the Dishwasher is to maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards set by Echelon Kitchen & Bar. These responsibilities include washing and restocking all plates, glass, and silverware, adequately maintaining the dish machine and other equipment needed to successfully perform their duties and performing other tasks, as delegated by the Chef Team

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Follow all company policies as outlined by the company.
  • Maintain a positive attendance record by reporting to work for assigned shifts at the scheduled time.  
  • Follow all sanitation and safety standards set forth by the Chef Team
  • Meet all uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified by the company.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of every dish, pot, pan, piece of silverware, and glass goes to the kitchen and our Guests. 
  • Clearly communicate with servers, bussers, prep chefs, and other station chef.
  • Ensure that the dish area, kitchen floor, Team Member restrooms, Team Member break area, and storage areas are spotlessly always cleaned.
  • Follow the receiving and storage standard procedures of various deliveries.
  • Perform assigned side work duties satisfactorily.
  • Follow all end-of-shift checkout procedures as outlined by the company.
  • Maintain a good team environment by assisting other team members with their station duties and side work when there is a need and/or when available.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
  • Checks out with Chef Team before clocking out

QUALIFICATIONS: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. 


  • Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
  • Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, products, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must have the ability to lift, stoop, and bend.
