Job DescriptionJob Title:Electrical Wiring Assembler

Location: Mt. Juliet, TN
Duration: 12+ Month (Possible to hire)

Shift & Pay

1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Select appropriate wire gauges, insulation types, connectors, terminals, and protective coverings.
• Accurately measure, cut, and strip wires according to specifications.
• Perform crimping and soldering to ensure strong electrical and mechanical connections.
• Assemble wire harnesses by routing, bundling, and securing wires per design requirements.
• Properly label wires, connectors, and assemblies for traceability and ease of installation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and electrical schematics.
• Perform mechanical assembly of subassemblies using hand and/or power tools.
• Utilize a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.
• Perform entire custom Bus operations for a job from start to finish.
• Use computer systems to clock start and finish times for assigned jobs.
• Quarantine non-conforming products per standards and determine product disposition.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate to supervision or engineering as needed.
• Enter Andon alerts in the LDS (Lean Digitization System) as required.
• Provide periodic input to supervision, engineering, and quality teams regarding product improvement.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and established quality standards.
  

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires standing and/or squatting for extended periods.
• Must be able to reach overhead, pull, push, and climb ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 26 lbs occasionally or 22 lbs repetitively.
• Steel-toed shoes are required.
  

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand moderately complex to very complex schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Preferred language: English (Required)
• High school diploma or GED required (education verification required).
