Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical drawings and blueprints, as well as hands-on experience with pipe bending and running MC cable. This role involves working on various commercial and/or residential projects, ensuring all electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
  • Install, bend, and secure electrical conduit (EMT, RMC, etc.) to code using hand or hydraulic benders
  • Run and terminate MC (Metal-Clad) cable in various environments
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, components, and equipment
  • Perform wire pulls, box installations, and panel terminations
  • Adhere to NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on schedule
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Accurately document work and report progress to supervisors

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; completion of electrical apprenticeship program preferred
  • Valid Electrician’s license or journeyman certification (as required by local/state law)
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial or residential electrical work
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Proficient in pipe bending techniques and using benders (hand, Chicago, etc.)
  • Skilled in installing and routing MC cable
  • Familiar with tools, materials, and methods used in electrical installations
  • Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, confined spaces)
