Job DescriptionVinyasa Yoga Teacher & Front Desk Associate (Part-Time)

Namaste Yoga is the world’s first cinematic infrared yoga studio, where the ancient roots of yoga are balanced with modern technology to create an immersive experience you truly have to feel to believe. We are seeking an experienced, passionate Vinyasa Yoga Teacher who is also enthusiastic about providing warm, professional front-desk support to our community. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who loves both teaching and being the welcoming face of the studio.

Position Overview

This part-time position combines teaching one weekly vinyasa class and working a weekly front-desk shift. All teachers at Namaste Yoga are required to cross-train at the desk to support a cohesive, service-oriented studio culture. Additional teaching opportunities may become available over time.

Schedule

• Teach: Saturdays at 1:30 PM (1 class per week)
• Front Desk: Sundays from either 11:30AM-5:30PM or 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Compensation

• Teaching:
• • Base rate: $55 per class
  • Bonus: $2 per student over 15 students
  • Maximum potential: $83 per class
• Front Desk:
• • $18 per hour

Responsibilities

Teaching

• Lead a dynamic, safe, and engaging vinyasa yoga class each week.
• Provide clear instruction, thoughtful sequencing, and appropriate hands-on or verbal assists (as trained).
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for students of all levels.
• Arrive early to prepare the space and stay afterward to clean and reset the room as needed.
• Embrace and integrate the cinematic infrared environment to enhance the student experience.

Front Desk

• Greet students warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage check-ins, class sales, membership questions, and retail transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby, studio, and common areas.
• Support studio operations, including opening/closing duties.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and management.

Requirements

• Minimum 200-hour yoga teacher training (RYT-200) with strong vinyasa teaching experience.
• Friendly, reliable, and professional with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort with technology and studio management software (training provided).
• Availability for the required weekly class and weekly desk shift.
• Commitment to supporting Namaste Yoga’s culture, community, and values.
• 1+ years of teaching experience.
• Customer service or front-desk experience.
• Willingness to pick up additional teaching or desk shifts as needed.
