About the Role:

The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients across the lifespan, from infants to older adults. This position focuses on providing primary care, managing acute and chronic illnesses, and promoting health education to improve patient outcomes. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification and licensure in the state of Hawaii.
• Unencumbered DEA license.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Experience delivery of primary care role with 3 years of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in primary care with adult population.
• Familiarity with Suboxone for opioid use disorders.
• Previous work experience in urgent care, intensive care unit or outpatient clinical settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, including medication management and follow-up care.
