Job Summary

We are an MD VIP Concierge primary care practice that empowers people to reach their health and wellness goals through in-depth knowledge, expertise and ongoing coaching.  We have an immediate opportunity for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team.  
The desired applicant must have the following professional skills:  be a multitasking achiever with ability to seamlessly work between the front and back office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an Internal Medicine office is required for this position
• Excellent teamwork, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to self manage time and tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with patients, physicians, and coworkers in a tactful, information and service oriented manner.
• AthenaHealth experience preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Answering the phones, triaging patient cases, scheduling appointments, faxing, scanning documents.
• Phlebotomy & EKG's
• Patient check-in and check-out
• Administering vaccines and injections
• Other clinical medical assistant duties as deemed necessary
