Diesel Mechanic (Must Have Own Tools)

Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and equipment. Candidates must have their own tools and be able to work independently while maintaining high-quality repair standards.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in diesel trucks and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filters, brakes, and inspections
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, fuel systems, and other components
• Use diagnostic tools to identify problems and recommend repairs
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
• Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and truck systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
• Must have your own mechanic tools
• Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a shop environment
• Reliable and dependable work ethic

Preferred:

• Experience working on semi-trucks or heavy equipment
• Knowledge of electrical diagnostics
• CDL is a plus but not required
