Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Information Technology Manager & HIPPA Security Officer to join our team on a Full-Time basis.
The Information Technology Manager plans, organizes, develops, directs, manages, coordinates, and evaluates the overall effectiveness of the Stoughton Health Information Technology (IT) Department in accordance with Stoughton Health Electronic Health Record (EHR) and current federal, State, local, DNV standards and Stoughton Health Strategic Plan.

This role is responsible for the implementation of information technology in the organization, overseeing a team of IT professionals. The role encompasses information systems planning, installation, and maintenance, including hardware and software upgrades. The role serves as the organization’s HIPAA Security Officer.


Position Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field with emphasis in network engineering.
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree
  • Professional Experience: At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Computer Competency: Advanced Computer competency skills are expected for this position. All Stoughton Hospital employees have e-mail access, and many use a PC to send and retrieve work e-mail; reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Intermediate Skills - Able to perform fairly detailed formatting, create Word and Excel files, write formulas, and prepare charts for reports.

Work Shift:

  • Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
  • 40 hours per week (Salaried position)
  • Scheduled Days: Monday – Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Weekend and Holiday- On Call may be required
  • May require some IT On-Call to support critical help desk issues at night and on weekends
