Your New Role

• Work from Agoura Hills, CA, while supporting projects throughout the Malibu service area
• Assist with space planning and basic interior layouts
• Create and update AutoCAD drawings, including plans, elevations, and details under designer's direction
• Support material, furniture, fabric, lighting, and finish selections
• Build and maintain specification binders and material libraries
• Assist with material schedules, fixture schedules, and purchase order support
• Track vendor orders, lead times, and deliveries
• Prepare client presentation materials using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint when needed
• Support project site visits by taking measurements, notes, and photographs
• Coordinate vendor communication, sample returns, filing, and other administrative support tasks
• Maintain accurate project documentation and organized project files
• Collaborate closely with Senior and Associate Designers while learning industry best practices

• Previous education or experience in interior design or a related field
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of SketchUp
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Dropbox and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, self-starting attitude
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with senior team members
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel to project sites within the service area as needed
