Spire is seeking a proactive and experienced *IT Manager* to lead our technology operations and IT team. Our current IT Manager is retiring, and this is an exciting opportunity to oversee and enhance our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal IT Manager will ensure the secure and efficient operation of computer systems, applications, hardware, and software across the company. Spire serves clients in retail, real estate, healthcare, finance, and manufacturing, providing a dynamic environment for technology leadership. *Current IT Manager retiring.* *Key Responsibilities:* As our *IT Manager*, you will: * Lead and manage the IT department, including system administrators, vendor support technicians, and network engineer consultants. * Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices. * Oversee all MIS systems related to orders, inventory, job management, shipping, machine interfaces, estimating, and workflows. * Manage DNS, IIS websites, SQL Server databases, disk space, Active Directory, SFTP servers, and all device inventories. * Collaborate with security vendors, including Sophos Taegis portal, and conduct vulnerability scanning with Tenable, Burp, and Nessus. * Handle SSL certificates, encryption, and other security measures. * Plan and execute IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. * Ensure network security and data protection strategies are in place and effective. * Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of hardware, software, and services. * Provide technical support, guidance, and training to staff across departments. * Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their impact on company operations. *Soft Skills and Core Competencies:* A successful *IT Manager* will demonstrate: * Strategic planning and decision-making aligned with business goals. * Strong project management and team leadership capabilities. * Expertise in architecture, design, integration, and performance tuning of IT systems. * Ability to manage sensitive data and maintain risk management protocols. * In-depth understanding of company-specific IT needs and business continuity requirements. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred). * 10+ years of experience in IT management or similar roles. * Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices. * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, and enterprise software. * Experience with vSphere and ESXi 8.x, Quest Rapid Recovery, MFA (DUO/Microsoft Authenticator), Exchange (on-prem, hybrid, or cloud), and O365. * Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Acrobat subscription management. * Experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, and SOC 2 or relevant certifications. xawqmyg * Relevant certifications like ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CompTIA are a plus. *Benefits:* * 401(k) matching * Dental, health, and vision insurance * Health savings account (HSA) * Life insurance * Paid time off & parental leave * Employee assistance program * Professional development assistance Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Parental leave * Professional development assistance * Vision insurance Ability to Commute: * Peabody, MA 01960 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Peabody, MA 01960: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
