Job Description

Overview:
Rovel Dental is seeking a friendly, skilled, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. This role is available Tuesday through Thursday, with some Fridays, in a fast-paced, supportive environment focused on exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial oral health assessments and review medical histories
• Take blood pressure, pulse, and other relevant vitals
• Perform dental cleanings and polishing (prophylaxis)
• Apply fluoride and other preventive agents
• Capture and analyze diagnostic x-rays in accordance with safety protocols
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and make personalized recommendations
• Counsel patients on diet, product usage, and habits that promote oral health
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with periodontal disease
• Perform periodontal charting, scaling, root planing, and maintenance therapy
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols strictly
• Accurately document treatments and observations in patient records
• Support dentists in implementing treatment plans and recommending home care products
• Ensure patients are informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their visit
• Provide post-treatment guidance and care instructions
• Stay current with the latest hygiene practices and clinical techniques

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Current Florida RDH license
• Valid Florida Dental Radiographer license
• CPR/BLS certification
