We are seeking a talented cook to join our team and become an integral part of our culinary journey. Offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Line Cook to showcase their talent, learn from experienced chefs and contribute to our growing success. As the Line Cook, you will prepare dishes that meet AKA's expectations for flavor, aroma, and visual appeal, maintain sanitary standards and maintain high level of organization in the kitchen.
Full-Time, AM and PM shifts
Compensation: $20.00 / hr.

TEAM MEMBER REQUIREMENTS:
▪ Read and familiarize yourself with all service manuals and handbooks.
▪ Provides food preparation assistance by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding vegetables and fruits;
cleaning, cutting, and grinding meats, poultry, and seafood, and other preparation duties as assigned by
supervisor(s)
▪ Prepares all foods according to recipe, tasting and adjusting flavor profile with assistance from
supervisor(s)
▪ Follows safe food handling practices and procedures.
▪ Controls recipes by weighing and measuring designated ingredients.
▪ Assists Chef(s) in his/her food preparation duties by carrying pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from
workstations, stove, and refrigerator, as directed.
▪ Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by cleaning work areas, equipment and utensils;
segregating and removing garbage; steam-cleaning or hosing garbage containers; following sanitation
standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
▪ Keeps supplies and foodstuffs ready by inventorying stock; requisitioning supplies and foodstuffs.

▪ Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications;
maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
▪ Enhances kitchen and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and

DESIRED SKILLS:
▪ Demonstrated strong guest service skills.
▪ Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
▪ Demonstrated energetic, self-motivating and a “can do” positive attitude.
▪ Proficiency in English (written and oral).
▪ Food Handlers Licensed preferred.
▪ At least 2 years of previous cooking experience preferred.
▪ High school degree or equivalent.
▪ Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
▪ Meticulous attention to detail
