Compensation:
$100,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Actually Do
This is a litigation-forward role with significant responsibility.
You will:
Draft EEOC charges and position statements
Prepare and file federal complaints
Develop case strategy and theory from intake through trial
Draft and respond to written discovery
Take and defend depositions
Draft and argue motions (including summary judgment)
Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
Prepare cases for trial
Communicate directly with sophisticated clients
Collaborate with paralegals and legal support staff to move cases efficiently
You will not simply “assist.” You will own cases with supervision, strategy sessions, and feedback.
Qualifications:
Who You Are
You Are:
Licensed and in good standing (Indiana preferred; multi-state is a plus)
2–6 years of litigation experience preferred (employment law is a bonus, not a requirement)
Comfortable drafting without heavy templates
Strong in legal writing and analysis
Able to think strategically, not just reactively
Confident speaking in depositions or eager to learn quickly
Organized and deadline-driven
Coachable but not fragile
Emotionally intelligent with clients in crisis
Energized by advocating for women in the workplace
Bonus If You:
Have federal court experience
Have taken or defended depositions
Understand damages theories (including emotional distress and punitive damages)
Thrive in a high-accountability environment
