Job DescriptionPosition: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Location: Liverpool, NY

Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends, no on-call, no hospital rounding)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in pain management to join an outpatient-focused practice offering excellent work-life balance. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy managing complex pain cases while working in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

You will provide compassionate care to patients with acute and chronic pain, collaborate closely with physicians, and help deliver personalized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive pain assessments and evaluations
• Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions per protocol
• Collaborate with physicians to develop individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on pain management strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA
• Perform clinical procedures as appropriate
• Participate in clinical research initiatives
• Support triage and case management for continuity of care

Requirements:

• Active NP or PA license in New York State
• Experience in acute care, ER, hospital, or critical care settings
• Knowledge of pain management therapies and techniques
• Proficiency with EHR systems and medical documentation
• Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
