Provide mental health treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., psychiatry, nursing, social work, physicians, education, chaplaincy, and security as applicable) to ensure integrated care and follow-through. Make regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to evaluate adjustment and treatment needs. Apply counseling theory and techniques to deliver appropriate interventions for individuals in the caseload. Provide crisis-focused mental health assessments and counseling, including interventions aimed at de-escalation and conflict avoidance. Consult with relevant staff to understand triggers and contributing factors related to escalation of behavior and changes in mental health. What You Need Required Board eligibility (at minimum) to qualify for privileges (license status required per role expectations) US citizenship required for ICE clearance Online license verification BLS that meets CoreCivic compliance requirements or completion of BLS attestation (per submittal instructions) Preferred Experience providing psychological services in correctional or institutional settings (not specified; not required) About the Assignment This full-time Licensed Psychologist assignment provides professional mental health care for individuals in custody at a leading facility in the City, State.
