Job DescriptionDescription

This position requires current authorization to work in the United States. We are not currently offering visa sponsorship for this role.

Essential Functions:

• Primary job task is to work on design and development projects for customers.
• Ability to understand and interpret specifications on customer drawings.
• Capable of engineering products within scope of MicroLumen products.
• Responsible for dealing with customer concerns.
• Responsible for coordinating and managing R & D projects.
• Following MicroLumen’s procedures is essential.
• Responsible for process development to expand manufacturing capabilities as required.
• Document procedures and LHRs for processes they develop.
• Oversee training of operators in the assembly area to ensure they are competent.

Other Expectations:

• Must be able to work well with others and communicate effectively.

Demonstrated Competencies (within in 1st year):

• Exposure to manufacturing department and applicable processes
• Bill of Material (BOM) and Routers, if applicable
