*NOTE: This role is seasonal and works from August to approximately May each year. Year-round positions may be offered based on business needs and performance.*
*Shift:* Full time, daylight, 7:30am to 4:00pm
*Production Team Member Responsibilities:*
Participate in the production line and requires placing and or removing items on a moving belt, ensuring the quality of each piece and packing the covered pieces in boxes to be used in other parts of the plant or repackaged for sale
Other duties include ensuring personal and work area cleanliness and keeping supplies stored according to quality rules and regulations. Minimum record-keeping and reporting may also be required
Visually inspect the products for quality and size specifications, and test products or packaging before shipping
Bagging products for distribution, attaching labels, and packaging finished products for shipment or storage.
Perform routine housekeeping and other cleaning and sanitation tasks as assigned by the Line Supervisor
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines as directed by management
It requires working in a team atmosphere and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be willing to work occasional seasonal overtime
Perform other duties as directed by the Line Supervisor
*Production Team Member Qualifications:*
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as well as standing/walking for extended periods
Production experience preferred but not required as on-the-job training is provided
Standing for an entire shift
Bending, turning, and reaching
*Compensation:*
$ 16 per hour
This position is not eligible for benefits unless accumulated hours threshold is surpassed per the Employee handbook
