About Arboreal Management

Arboreal Management is a Seattle-based property management company operating thousands of apartment homes across the Pacific Northwest, with a focus on workforce and affordable housing. We've gone from 200 units in 2021 to 8,000+ today — and we're still accelerating. We got here by pairing the best local property managers in the business with a strong offshore back office and AI-enabled technology.

We're process-obsessed and mission-driven. If you want a team with momentum, modern systems, and meaningful work in affordable and workforce housing, we'd love to meet you.

The Role

This role is the entry point into real estate operations at Arboreal. You'll start in leasing — the front line of everything we do — where great communication, follow-through, and attention to detail set the tone for the entire community. You'll tour prospects, manage the leasing pipeline, and help our on-site teams deliver a great resident experience from day one.

From there, the paths open up quickly. We're growing fast, which means new roles and new responsibilities are opening up constantly (literally weekly) — in on-site management, regional operations, compliance, resident services, systems and technology, and beyond. We don't put people on a single track. As you demonstrate capability, we look for ways to expand your scope in the direction that fits you best. People who take ownership move up fast here. There are multiple success stories of people in this exact role at this company. Whether they have moved into upper management here, or taken on new roles elsewhere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tours and manage the full leasing pipeline from first inquiry to signed lease
  • Respond to prospects quickly and professionally across phone, email, and text
  • Assist operations team with systems rollouts and company wide initiatives
  • Support move-ins, move-outs, and renewals alongside on-site property managers
  • Travel between properties across our Seattle portfolio as needed (car required)
  • Learn our systems and processes — and help make them better
  • Take on additional responsibilities as opportunities emerge
Qualifications
  • Strong communicator — as comfortable with people as you are with process
  • Organized, reliable, and quick to follow through
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Motivated by mission and driven to grow
  • Interest in real estate, housing, or operations as a career
  • No property management experience required — we'll teach you the industry
Nice to Have
  • Customer-facing, sales, or hospitality experience
  • Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio a plus)
Compensation & Growth
  • Competitive base salary plus a strong leasing commission structure
  • Multiple growth tracks — operations, on-site leadership, compliance, systems, and more — based on where you show strength
  • Fast advancement for people who take ownership and deliver
  • Coaching, documented expectations, and accountability that's fair and measurable
  • Direct exposure to how a fast-growing operating company actually works

Arboreal is a drug-free workplace, and we use E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.

We deliver below-market, affordable rents for our residents and above-market returns for our investors.
